Characters: Jesper Fahey

Jesper Fahey is a seventeen-year-old sharpshooter who is later revealed to also be a Grisha Fabricator. He is witty, sarcastic and funny, but can be loose tongued sometimes. Jesper is an excellent sharpshooter, who never misses his shot. His powers as a Grisha Fabricator allows him to manipulate metal, glass and textile, a skill that helps the group break out from the prisons during their heist.

Jesper grew up on a farm on Novyi Zem, with his farmer father and Grisha mother. He was taught to hide his Grisha abilities, so he never got training from the Little Palace. Jesper came to Ketterdam to attend university but soon got addicted to gambling and got into debt for which he left university without his father’s knowledge. He joined the Dregs to cover up his debts and soon became a valued member.

Due to hiding his powers, Jesper had a huge amount of energy inside him, making him always restless. He is also addicted to gambling extensively and gets into trouble for his addiction. He also has loose lips, and mistakenly gives away private information, making Kaz not trust him.

Novyi Zem: a country known for its Jurda crops and firearms.
